1991 #4 Kodak Lumina Driven by Ernie Irvan

Vehicle Description

This is my 1991 Winston Cup Lumina. It was a Morgan-McClure car and most recently had the Kodak Film, Ernie Irvan livery. I contacted Morgan-McClure racing and got the name of the original graphics vendor and had new graphics produced.

The chassis is a Banjo Matthews and the 600+ HP 355ci dry sump Chevy is newly built and optimized for road racing. An almost 2 year rebuild was completed this year and the running gear is 2005-2006 Nextel Cup. We also built the car to be HSCRG compliant. I do not have any documentation on the car nor its race history. Morgan McClure told me they did not keep those records.

The car includes:

Engine

Jericho Transmission

Ford 9" rear with integrated cooler

3.86 gear

All instrumentation and gauges

Fuel cell (2005)

17" Seat with all safety harnesses

This car is track ready. I have the contingency decals but have not put them on yet. This car was built and set up to be driven hard and campaigned every weekend. We built the car to be HSCRG compliant. There are not many of these Luminas left. Days of Thunder and the Earnhardt movie have basically used up all the ones that were not cutoff to convert to Monte Carlos in the nineties.
